Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide safe and therapeutic patient care. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams, carrying out established nursing procedures and performing related duties as required. Provides care for patients with complex needs under appropriate guidance and assists in the management of care delivered by other members of the nursing team. The Registered Nurse (RN) functions as part of the interdisciplinary team caring for patients undergoing procedures or examinations in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) and/or Cardiology Department across all sites. Responsibilities include preparing patients prior to radiologic procedures, supporting care during procedures, and providing post-procedural care. The RN also assists in the management of patient care during moderate sedation and anesthesia cases. This role requires a dedicated professional committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to orient and work across all UCSF Medical Center locations. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF.
