Torch is seeking a talented Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to support our customers at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). Model-Based Systems Engineering is a rapidly growing discipline within the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community, enabling more efficient, data-driven approaches to complex system development and analysis.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform requirements analysis, decomposition, and traceability for complex systems.
  • Develop and maintain system architectures, designs, and interface control documents.
  • Conduct system-level testing, verification, and validation activities.
  • Participate in trade studies, risk assessments, and technical reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and test engineers.
  • Support the integration and testing of system components and subsystems.
  • Document technical specifications, test plans, and project reports.
  • Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and tools where applicable.
  • Provide technical support and expertise throughout the system development lifecycle.

Job Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 6-10+ years of experience in systems engineering.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering processes (e.g., requirements management, architecture definition, verification and validation).
  • Experience with systems engineering tools (e.g., DOORS, Cameo Systems Modeler, Enterprise Architect) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have an active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI.

Schedule:M-F; 8-5
