Commercial Security Systems Technician Location: Charlotte, NC Experience: Mid-Senior* Level* We're seeking an experienced Commercial Security Systems Technician to join our Technical Services Group. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys handson system work, advanced troubleshooting, and delivering highquality solutions for commercial clients. You'll play a key role in system implementation, programming, and final commissioning across intrusion, access control, fire, and video systems. What You'll Do * Install, configure, program, and commission commercial intrusion, access control, fire, and CCTV/video systems * Provide advanced technical support for installed security systems, both remotely and onsite * Troubleshoot system issues and ensure optimal performance at customer locations * Deliver enduser training and ensure smooth system handoff * Collaborate closely with installation teams, project managers, engineers, and other technical specialists * Assist and mentor other technical support team members as needed * Maintain detailed service reports and documentation * Interact professionally with customers and consistently exceed customer satisfaction expectations What We're Looking For * 3-5+ years of experience installing and servicing commercial electronic security systems * Strong handson experience with CCTV, access control, alarms, and video systems * Familiarity with enterpriselevel access control platforms such as Lenel (OnGuard) is a strong plus * Experience with systems from manufacturers such as Honeywell or similar vendors * Solid understanding of lowvoltage systems, cabling, and networked security devices * Excellent customer service, communication, and problemsolving skills * Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Preferred Certifications (a Plus, Not Required) * Lenel or similar access control certifications * Industry technical licenses or manufacturer certifications Why Join Us * Work on complex, highvisibility commercial security projects * Be part of a collaborative Technical Services Group with strong technical leadership * Opportunity to grow your expertise with advanced systems and enterprise clients * Stable, longterm role with a company focused on quality and customer satisfaction Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
