Summary: Primary responsibility is to provide technical leadership and functional guidance to plant management and staff in Company facilities in the area of Safety & Health. Educate and coach operations personnel at multiple field locations on safety and health procedures to include hazard recognition, risk assessment, industrial health programs, and federal, state, and local regulations and audit compliance. Assist the Manager of Safety and Health in developing and implementing safety, health, and risk management processes for the area. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This position will involve travel throughout the assigned area and Division. What You'll Do:

Other Requirements
Experience. Previous experience in an industrial environment or mining/aggregates industry in either surface or underground operations is required. Operational Knowledge. Knowledge of mining, asphalt, ready mix concrete and/or landfill operations is preferred. Must have knowledge in methods of preventions of incidents, occupational injuries, illnesses, and property loss. Must demonstrate knowledge of Loss Control principles. Regulation Knowledge. Must have a working knowledge of MSHA, OSHA general industry and construction, ATF, and DOT regulations. Problem-Solving Skills. Must possess excellent hazard recognition skills, working with different partners to address the challenges and problems ensuring accurate, safe, and efficient solutions. Technology Skills. Must have strong computer skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, and cell phones. Must be able to use various and highly sophisticated computerized devices. What You'll Like About Us: Salary Range. The base salary range for this role is between $85,000 - $100,000 annual salary. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package.
