Job Overview:



We are looking for an individual who will be responsible for managing the supply chain replenishment strategy and project implementation for critical components and suppliers. This person will be held accountable for PPV/Inventory metrics, supplier quality, and process improvements. The best candidate will have knowledge of using MRP and purchasing in a manufacturing environment. The ability to execute corporate objectives with accuracy and troubleshoot problems effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and implement innovative supply opportunities that deliver the best competitive advantage for cost and quality working both independently and with the Milton Roy Global Sourcing team

  • Achieve operating performance targets and including cost savings

  • Knowledge of Kanban, VMI, and consignment agreements.

  • Work effectively in a cross-functional environment between manufacturing operations, engineering, quality, marketing, and sales

  • Maintain a procurement process that meets all corporate regulated standards

  • Focus on quality in all aspects of the business and drive issues to the root cause

  • Place purchase orders in SAGE ERP

  • Understand MRP and execute action messages promptly

  • Hold weekly calls with problem suppliers to drive root cause and corrective action

  • Maintaining accurate dates in SAGE ERP, confirming all purchasing orders, expediting open purchase orders with suppliers, resolving any non-conforming issues with parts and invoice issues




Requirements:



  • High School Diploma required

  • 3+ years of purchasing experience required

  • 3+ years of experience working in a production/manufacturing environment

  • 2+ years of experience with MRP/ERP, JIT, or Kanban




Core Competencies:


  • Statistical/Analytical background and strong skills in database creation, spreadsheets, etc.

  • Proven track record of hitting cost reduction targets and project implementation
  • Negotiating capabilities suppliers.

  • Analytical problem solver and data-driven decision-making abilities

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, task-focused environment




Preferences:


  • Bachelor's degree

  • Knowledge with SAGE ERP

  • Purchasing or Material Certifications and/or membership

  • Ability to work seamlessly across functions and regions

  • ??????? International purchasing strongly preferred



Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements


  • This position will be based at the Tulsa, OK location, with minimal anticipated travel.
