About the role

Job Profile: Equipment Operator II (MPF)

Job Description Summary

As an Equipment Operator II, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment, participate in field service projects and support the project lead in accordance with the project objectives.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment, including driving to/from project site.
  • Maintain, clean, inspect and document, grease, and return company owned vehicles, equipment, and tools. Report required equipment maintenance (both required and preventative maintenance), and/or damages to management immediately
  • Responsible for understanding the scopes of work the onsite project lead had described to you.
  • In absence of project lead, required to lead smaller projects aligned with field experiences, and/or lead/execute a specific onsite scope of work item(s) ensuring crew members are performing the work in accordance with the project objectives, and maintaining a clean and orderly job site.
  • Assist the onsite project lead in determining site specific health and safety hazards and enforcing the onsite safety requirements. Must communicate any safety issues that are identified, or general questions/concerns with project to management.
  • Participate as an active member of the 24 hour Emergency Response team, including being on call one week per month.
  • Ensure dig safe tickets are still valid and the appropriate utilities have marked in the area.
  • Required to perform in a manual laborer role when equipment operation is not required.
  • Mentor and teach any new hires and/or Equipment Operator I level employees.
  • Additional duties as assigned to support efficient company operations

Position Requirements & Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 year's experience operating industrial equipment
  • Maintain acceptable driving record/safety habits in order to drive company vehicles to and from projects.
  • Maintain valid hydraulic license for the applicable states (MA and/or RI).

Pay Transparency

Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages. The range below reflects Reworld's reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.

The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $52,200.00 - $69,400.00 USD. For hourly roles, this is the annualized salary. To calculate the hourly rate, divide by 2080.
