Job Summary: The Tax Assistant provides administrative assistance for the Tax Director and Accountants. The duties for this position include, but are not limited to: Job Functions:
- Provide general administrative support to the Wealth Management Tax Department.
- Coordinate and monitor schedules, records, and information pertinent to the filing deadlines for all trust accounts.
- Coordinate and file all tax returns with the applicable tax authorities for the Wealth Management Tax Department.
- Manage electronic and physical filing of tax department documents, including tax notices and monthly client statements.
- Service Trustees and Account Administrators requests and inquiries, specifically providing copies of appropriate documents upon request.
- Manages portals and requests with external CPAs to process >1,500 tax payments.
- Update tax portal for payments and organize and save tax vouchers.
- Assist with processing tax refunds by verifying account information and depositing into proper accounts.
- Open, process, and distribute tax department mail.
- Maintain spreadsheet for tax notice tracking, and coordinating various departmental tasks.
- Additional duties as requested.

Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent in business administration.
- 3-5 years administrative support experience; experience in investment management or tax industry preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Detail oriented, flexible, ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.

The anticipated pay range for this role is listed below and represents our good faith and reasonable estimate of the salary range for this specific position at the time of posting. In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance. The actual offered rate for this position will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to qualifications and experience, education, external market data and consideration of internal equity. $60,000 - $80,000
