Description: Title: FP&A Manager Reports to:Senior Vice President, Finance Department/Location:Finance / Remote FLSA Status: Exempt Summary: We are seeking an experienced Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to join our growing finance team. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Finance, this individual will serve as a key strategic partner across Guidelight Health, bringing financial rigor and analytical insight to decision-making as we continue to scale nationally. This is a high-impact role suited for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and is eager to help shape the company's financial future. The FP&A Manager will own core planning and reporting processes, build scalable financial models, and partner closely with clinic operations, growth, and clinical leadership to evaluate new initiatives and drive performance across our PHP and IOP programs. Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning processes, partnering closely with functional and clinic leaders to ensureaccurate,timely, and strategy-aligned submissions.
- Build dynamic financial models, KPI dashboards, and scenario analyses that inform business planning and support new clinic openings, service line expansions, and capital investment decisions.
- Drive long-range strategic planning efforts, developing financial frameworks that support margin improvement, market expansion, and multi-site growth.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and present executive-level financial reports, variance analyses, and dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making by clinic and senior leadership.
- Track and communicate key performance indicators across clinic operations, including patient volumes, revenue per visit, staffing ratios, payer mix, and operating margins.
- Take full ownership of financial analyses and strategic projects through to final recommendations, building Board- and leadership-ready materials that distill complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Operational & Revenue Cycle Support
- Develop strong cross-functional partnerships with clinic, operations, and clinical leadership,facilitatingregular financial reviews and serving as a strategic thought partner to drive performance improvement.
- Partner with accounting, revenue cycle management, and operational teams to ensure financial data accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and support payer mix reviews and reimbursement trend monitoring.
- Continuously improve financial reporting tools, forecasting methodologies, and dashboard capabilities to enhance accuracy, transparency, and usability; drive initiatives to advance process automation and financial systems integration.
- Strategic Projects
- Lead financial diligence and scenario planning for business cases related to new clinic openings, payer contract negotiations, and market expansion opportunities.
- Model and measure the ROI of strategic initiatives, including technology investments, automation opportunities, and operational improvement efforts.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses for senior leadership to evaluate opportunities, risks, and cost-saving initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, management consulting, or healthcare financial operations; multi-site healthcare or outpatient behavioral health experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of healthcare reimbursement, payer mix, and clinic operational drivers.
- Skills & Competencies
- Deep financial modelingexpertisewith the ability to synthesize complex data into insights that drive executive decision-making.
- Advancedproficiencyin Excel and financial modeling; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with operations, growth, clinical, and IT teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial information for both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong leadership capabilities witha track recordof managing projects and competing priorities in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
- Proven discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in behavioral health, outpatient mental health, or tech-enabled healthcare services.
- Background in management consulting, investment banking, or corporate development.
- Proficiencywith EHR-integrated reporting or billing analytics platforms.
- Experience championing AI, automation, and data visualization tools to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce administrative burden.
