Garner Family Practice has an opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner with a projected start date of January 2027. Garner Family Practice has been meeting the medical needs of the community since 1979, offering care to patients of all ages. Garner Family Practice is part of the UNC Physicians Network Group Practices, a for-profit subsidiary of UNC Health Care System that remains privately owned and is managed by UNC Health.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Open to new and experienced nurse practitioners.

Other Information

Education Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

  • Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina.
  • Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

  • Demonstrated clinical competency.
  • Effective leadership skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills.
  • Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting.
  • Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.
