What You Will Learn:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Fully supports an interdependent safety culture, modeling safe behaviors and proactively driving the mission of zero accidents through coaching, verification, and rapid correction of unsafe conditions.
  2. Champions the plant's Quality and Environmental Objectives, ensuring all standards, procedures, and GMP expectations are consistently applied and reinforced.
  3. Models a positive, cando leadership mindset, inspiring others, reinforcing accountability, and fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  4. Demonstrates operational capability by performing key unit functions-including running lines and executing washouts-and provides handson support to maintain flow, resolve issues, and stabilize performance.
  5. Continuously evaluates unit performance indicators and develops both shortterm countermeasures and midterm improvement plans aligned with L'Oreal objectives: Safety, Quality, Productivity, Service, and Cost.
  6. Facilitates daily and weekly Performance routines, ensuring data accuracy, clear communication of priorities, and disciplined followthrough on actions.
  7. Executes Labor System reporting with accuracy and timeliness.
  8. Oversees Inventory Management, ensuring correct material usage, reconciliation, and adherence to FIFO and traceability requirements.
  9. Coordinates all UP activity, including operator line assignments, communication of priorities, temporary labor scheduling, and planning of meetings and trainings.
  10. Develops staff capability, ensuring all unit personnel are trained, coached, and supported to perform operations efficiently and safely.
  11. Leads a team of 10-15 employees, including Operators and Temporaries, and oversees 12 production lines per shift.
  12. Owns all training, coaching, and performance reviews for operators, ensuring clear expectations, documented progress, and consistent accountability.
  13. Provides technical coaching and technical training, building operator mastery, troubleshooting capability, and process understanding.
  14. Leads and drives Line Improvement Teams, ensuring disciplined problem solving, rootcause analysis, and daily/weekly OEE tracking against goals.
  15. Is accountable for Safety, Quality, and EEM, conducting regular audits of Safety, Quality, and GMP standards and ensuring corrective actions are implemented and sustained.
  16. Ensures proper onboarding of employees, establishing expectations early and verifying readiness before assignment.
  17. Acts as a change leader, communicating clearly, removing barriers, and ensuring new standards, systems, and routines are adopted and sustained.

Required Qualifications:

Education:Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Experience:2-5 years in a manufacturing management role.

Skills:Strong leadership capability with a coaching mentality, continuous improvement mindset with ability to drive sustainable change, Strong problemsolving skills using structured methods and data, good written and oral communication skills, proven organizational and planning skills, strong technical skills and mechanical aptitude, excellent computer skills and comfort with digital tools
