What You'll Do

As a Systems Administration Apprentice, you'll support the infrastructure behind Jack Henry's CMS and our Online website hosting platform. This role provides foundational experience in systems administration, cloud infrastructure concepts, and automation-while working closely with a small, highly collaborative team.

You'll learn by doing, contribute to meaningful work, and develop skills used by modern systems administrators and cloud engineers.

In This Role, You'll:

• Assist with DNS configuration and domain management
• Support certificate management and renewals
• Participate in website migrations and infrastructure updates
• Help build and improve tooling and automation
• Learn how systems are monitored, maintained, and improved at scale
• Collaborate with teammates via Slack and daily team huddles
• Document processes and contribute ideas for efficiency and automation
• Gain exposure to how AI can enhance infrastructure and operations

What We're Looking For

This role is ideal for someone early in their IT or infrastructure journey who enjoys learning systems from the ground up and likes building things that make platforms run smoothly.

Minimum Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
• Able to meet legal requirements to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of DNS, SSL/TLS certificates, and internet networking fundamentals
• Foundational knowledge of websites and hosting concepts
• Interest in systems automation, infrastructure tooling, or cloud technologies

(You don't need to know everything on day one-we care about curiosity, reliability, and growth.)
