Warehouse Associate

Job Summary

The Order Picker / Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately pulling, staging, and putting away materials in a high-volume, fast-paced warehouse environment. This role operates order picker (cherry picker) equipment at elevated heights and supports core warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, and inventory control. The position requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate order picker (cherry picker) equipment to pull and stock materials at elevated heights (up to 35-40 feet)
• Pick, prepare, and stage orders for shipment according to work orders
• Receive, verify, and put away incoming materials accurately
• Maintain accurate inventory movement and follow warehouse procedures
• Ensure warehouse areas remain clean, organized, and safe at all times
• Follow work instructions and complete tasks in a high-volume environment
• Use RF scanners (if applicable) to track inventory and material flow
• Assist in shipping, receiving, returns, and general warehouse operations as needed
• Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for full shifts

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months recent warehouse or order picker experience required
• Experience operating a cherry picker (order picker) required
• Ability to work at heights up to 35-40 feet
• Ability to read and understand work orders
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
• Ability to perform physical labor including bending, twisting, pulling, and standing for 8-hour shifts
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Work Experience

• Warehouse operations experience (shipping, receiving, inventory, or distribution) preferred
• RF scanner experience preferred
