8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Monday - Friday with occasional evening and weekend hours required, as necessary.

Primary Purpose of Position
This position's primary purpose is to support the Scheduling and Registration unit in the Office of the Registrar. The position also serves as a content expert in the areas of class schedule, final exams, room scheduling, registration, Banner catalog level maintenance, scheduling analytics, and section building training.
Minimum Education/Experience
Required Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from high school and one year of related office experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Job Duties


  • Academic Scheduling & Maintenance: Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot the master schedule of classes to ensure accuracy and compliance with institutional policies.

  • Room & Event Optimization: Oversee academic room scheduling, coordinate ad hoc event requests, and utilize analytics to optimize campus space utilization.

  • Final Exam Coordination: Develop, implement, and communicate the institutional final exam schedule.

  • System & Catalog Maintenance: Perform catalog-level maintenance within the student information system (Banner) via Curriculog.

  • Registration Support: Facilitate registration processing, manage time tickets, and directly assist students, faculty, and staff in resolving complex registration issues.

  • Training & Schedule Onboarding: Design and lead Section Building Training sessions for departmental schedulers and administrative faculty/staff.

  • Project Management & Reporting: Leverage Smartsheet for project management, collaborative task tracking, process automation, and the creation of dashboards and operational reports.

  • Data Integrity: Generate, analyze, and disseminate routine data integrity reports for both the schedule of classes and the registration processes.

  • Help Desk Resolution: Monitor, triage, and swiftly resolve support tickets in Salesforce and Team Dynamix related to scheduling and registration.

  • System Testing: Conduct rigorous user testing for all relevant software and system upgrades.

  • Customer Service & Compliance: Deliver exceptional, student-centric customer service while strictly adhering to FERPA regulations and institutional privacy standards.

  • Cross-Training: Serve as the primary back-up for Special Enrollments processing and other Office of the Registrar tasks, as needed.

Other Work Responsibilities
Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education

  • Candidates will ideally have prior experience in higher education, specifically in a Registrar's Office or an academic scheduling department.
  • Proficiency in Banner 9 or a comparable University/College based software information system
  • Hands-on experience with 25Live or other room scheduling software systems
  • Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace
  • Extreme attention to detail with accuracy, with a strong customer service orientation, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a team environment
