As a Security Officer Driver Security Rounds in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech location as an unarmed officer who monitors and patrols assigned areas, performs routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, and remains visible to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $21.79 / Hour

Required: Clean Driving Record

Training: Three Weeks on the Day Shift

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support access control practices in accordance with site protocols for a high-availability operations environment.
• Complete routine reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and report maintenance concerns, policy issues, and/or security-related incidents observed during patrols and post assignments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
