MedStar Medical Group is seeking a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center in Olney, Maryland. Practice in a 12-bed Medical/Surgical ICU caring for critically ill medical and surgical patients while enjoying a high degree of clinical autonomy, strong physician collaboration, and the support of MedStar Health's nationally recognized healthcare system.

• 12-bed mixed Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit
• 574 annual ICU admissions
• 5,554 annual inpatient admissions
• Nocturnist
• Typical daily ICU census of 8-10 patients managed by a three-provider team
• Collaborative team of 5 physicians and 5 APPs supporting ICU coverage
• Care for critically ill medical and surgical patients
• Lead Code Blue responses and participate in Rapid Response Team activations
• Evaluate and manage unstable patients throughout the hospital who may require ICU-level care
• Perform procedures and practice with a high degree of clinical autonomy within a collaborative team environment
