Job Description

Position Summary:

The Operations Intern will work on assignments related to production support, continuous improvement, and plant initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain job assignments from supervisor or manager.
  • Work safely in accordance with plant safety guidelines including cardinal rules of safety.
  • Correctly interpret work orders.
  • Perform pressure test at high PSI ranges.
  • Perform with abrasive blasters.
  • Review Technique Cards and paperwork.
  • Meets all production and quality standards.
    Work in a team environment, i.e. follow instructions and assist others as needed.
  • Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Perform daily housekeeping / 6S activities as required.
  • Support operations leadership with operational priorities.
  • Work within specifications provided to meet goals and objectives in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
  • Actively enrolled as a student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
