We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our Asset Management team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer, with a portfolio of successful end-to-end projects.
- Enhance, maintain, and support a small portfolio of applications
- Architect and develop web applications, implementing full-stack solutions using C# and the .NET platform.
- Build interactive user interfaces using Blazor (WebAssembly or Server) and Razor components, ensuring a responsive and intuitive user experience.
- Design and create RESTful APIs and microservices using ASP.NET Core to power client-side functionality.
- Strong knowledge of database technologies, preferably SQL Server
- Experience with noSQL databases (i.e. mongo) nice to have but not required
- Experience with SSIS/SSRS and/or Pentaho a nice to have but not required
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Experience with version control systems: particularly Git.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of autonomy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5 or more years of professional experience in full-stack development.
- Proven expertise in C# and the .NET Core / .NET platform is essential.
- In-depth, hands-on experience with Blazor (WebAssembly and/or Server) Or the Angular framework and component-based architecture.
- Experience with front-end web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and some JavaScript, for Blazor integration.
- Proficiency in database design and management with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Understanding of ORM frameworks, especially Entity Framework Core.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
- Solid experience with version control, particularly Git
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to development.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
