As a Security Officer Badge Verification in Elkins Park, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will monitor entry points, manage access credentials, and support residents and guests with professional customer service and communication. This Access Control role involves maintaining a visible presence, responding to security-related concerns, and helping to deter incidents while reflecting our values of reliability, teamwork, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, verifying access authorizations, and supporting security-related protocols at entry and exit points.
• Monitor visitor and delivery activity, maintain accurate access records, and communicate with property management and/or residents regarding approved entry requests and unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing entrances, exits, parking areas, and common areas, and reporting suspicious behavior or security-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter, noting maintenance issues, unsecured access points, and/or other conditions requiring attention.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
