Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.

• Experience operating a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently
• Ability to load, unload, move, stack, and organize palletized materials
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and safe equipment operation
• Ability to read shipping documents and identify storage locations
• Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to safety
• Must pass a sit-down forklift assessment at the worksite

• Load and unload products using a sit-down forklift
• Keep production equipment supplied with materials as needed
• Transport, stack, and organize inventory throughout the facility
• Support shipping and receiving operations
• Perform equipment inspections before use
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with warehouse organization
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.
