Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
A Level II Quality Associate is competent in all of the skills needed to conduct all the types of routine inspections required for the assigned area according to procedures, as well as acting independently using drawings to identify the tools to be used. The Level II Associate shows judgement and responsibility in knowing when to reject, how to communicate status and take immediate action on their own. A Level II Associate is always watchful for quality risks around them and takes action even when outside their normal inspection duties. The individual MAY be cross trained to work in multiple assignment areas. The responsibilities are as follows:
  • Inspect and measure working to drawings and procedures.
  • Focus on either purchased or produced materials but may be cross trained in other assignment areas.
  • Fully competent in all the basic inspections and tests performed by a level I, including all equipment and data systems.
  • Audit production work-in-process material, record results and notify production leadership of problems.
  • Monitor identified high risk production activities to confirm new quality instructions are being followed.
  • Work safely, be aware of safety risks in the environment and inform others when safety risks are identified.
  • Enter the appropriate type of Quality Notification in SAP and notify others of actions that they must take.
  • Assist and / train other inspectors on basic inspections, including advising them and confirming their results when needed.
  • Audit specific production activities to confirm they match the governing procedures.
  • Expected to be fully competent in all other expectations for Level I work, including teamwork, safety, following policies, cleanliness and organization.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
To be eligible for this position, you must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring any employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. This includes CPT, OPT, F-1, J-1, H-1B, or any other employment-based visa. Please note that we do not provide relocation or housing assistance at this time.
What You Need to Succeed
  • High school diploma and or equivalent
  • Three (3) or more years of related experience required, including at least one year in an inspection role with material similar to Rainin material.
  • Visual and dimensional inspection skills to use precision measuring inspection tools used for our materials
  • Basic drawing reading skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Good computer skills
