Position Announcement

Under the leadership of the Director of Enrollment Marketing and Communications, this position is responsible for coordinating a thriving and innovative campus visit program at Utah Tech University. This includes planning all individual and group campus visits and select recruitment events for the University, such as individual/group visits, Blazer Blasts, Outreach Open Houses, and other similar enrollment. This position oversees the Student Ambassador program and serves as a key member of the Enrollment team, helping ensure prospective students and their families receive engaging, personalized, and high-quality campus experiences that support enrollment goals. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, customer-focused, and highly organized professional with a passion for Utah Tech University, its programs and services, and student success.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of campus visit experiences and enrollment-related events designed to support recruitment, engagement, and enrollment goals.
  • Oversee the Student Ambassador program, including recruitment, training, scheduling, supervision, professional development, and day-to-day operations.
  • Develop and implement communications, promotional materials, surveys, and follow-up efforts that support campus visits, recruitment events, and Student Ambassador initiatives, in collaboration with the Director of Enrollment Marketing and Communications.
  • Supervise the campus visit Welcome Center and Student Ambassador work areas and oversee golf cart management.
  • Communicate with and compile an "Information Packet" for visiting students in order to individualize their campus visit, with efforts made to tailor each visit to the expressed needs of the student whenever possible.
  • Assess the effectiveness of campus visits and events using attendance, participant feedback, engagement, and other key performance indicators. Prepare reports and recommend improvements to strengthen program outcomes and return on investment.
  • Develop and enhance options for weekly virtual tour visits and event options.
  • Assist in the management, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of the University's virtual campus tour experience.
  • Manage and optimize prospective student engagement platforms, including ZeeMee and similar communication tools, to enhance the campus visit experience, strengthen student and family engagement, and support enrollment goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Three (3) or more years of relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree. Experience in higher education, marketing, event coordination, recruitment, or team supervision is preferred.
  • At least two (2) years' related experience preferred; experience in higher education is preferred. The total qualifications required are based on a combination of education and work experience. Any experience used to meet the education requirement cannot also be used to meet the work experience requirement.
  • High motivation and commitment to the University, including the ability to self-start, be calm under pressure, meet deadlines, work without direct supervision, switch-task between competing priorities, problem-solve, and relate to a variety of personalities under diverse circumstances.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Good computer skills, including word processing and data entry.
  • Experience using a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) platform, such as Element451, Slate, Salesforce, or a similar system, is preferred.
  • Work effectively as part of a team and possess excellent collaboration skills.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate occasional evening and weekend activities required.

Supplemental Information

POSITION DETAILS, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:Full-time overtime-exempt staff position. Annual salary of $43,000-$45,000 depending on qualifications and experience. Desired start date of October/November 2026.
