This multi-level position will be hybrid in: Memphis, TN / Plano, TX / Pittsburgh, PA. Candidates must live within a commutable distance from Memphis, Plano, or Pittsburgh to be eligible for this role. Employees will be required to work at a FedEx office location up to several times per week. Strategy Planning Principal Job Summary: Under limited supervision, provides leadership in the development of the organization's strategic plan(s). Conducts environmental scans, organizational positioning analyses and other studies. Develops concepts into strategies Including quantitative analyses and recommendations; screens plans for strategic fit, feasibility and profitability prior to presentation to senior management. Coordinates input from all major business units to facilitate the Integration of individual business unit plans, best practices and global and multi-discipline perspectives. Conducts external research and quantitative analysis as required. Identifies, researches, analyzes and makes recommendations to support the organization's growth objectives. Job Specific Details:
Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business administration or equivalent. Minimum Experience Five (5) or more years equivalent work experience in information technology or business environment including project management, quantitative analysis, forecasting, process improvement or market/competitive analysis. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Demonstrated leadership ability, analytical and critical thinking ability with time management and management skills. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential.
