Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical training in machining, manufacturing, light industrial trades, or a vocational program preferred.
  • Ongoing participation in job-related training and educational opportunities encouraged.


Experience Requirements

  • 1-3 years of machine operator experience in a manufacturing, machining, or high-tech production environment preferred.
  • Experience reading blueprints, work instructions, and production specifications.
  • Proficiency using Windows-based computer systems.
  • Experience monitoring equipment performance and identifying maintenance needs.
  • Ability to work overtime and adapt to changing production priorities.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to load fixtures and make process adjustments.
  • Experience supporting process improvements and manufacturing efficiency initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work closely with engineering and production teams to support new processes and product development.


Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to use microscopes, measuring equipment, and production machinery.
  • Frequent hand and finger dexterity required for handling small components and equipment adjustments.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and follow all safety procedures.


Job Duties

  • Operate production equipment according to documented manufacturing procedures.
  • Load fixtures, perform machine adjustments, and assist with job setups.
  • Inspect parts using microscopes and quality standards to identify defects and ensure product compliance.
  • Read blueprints and technical documents to verify production specifications.
  • Monitor machine performance and report maintenance or repair needs.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on new processes and continuous improvement projects.
  • Maintain accurate production records and follow all quality, safety, and company procedures.
  • Support a safe, efficient, and customer-focused manufacturing operation.
