Education Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to learn and utilize logistics, inventory, and warehouse management systems.

Experience Requirements

• Previous experience in logistics, shipping and receiving, inventory control, or warehouse operations preferred.
• Experience processing inbound and outbound shipments, including shipping documentation and inventory transactions.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using ERP or logistics software, such as Oracle.
• Familiarity with bills of lading, packing lists, shipping labels, and receiving documentation.
• Knowledge of inventory management, cycle counting, and outsourced processing transactions.
• Forklift experience or willingness to learn and become certified.
• Experience collaborating with vendors, suppliers, customers, and internal departments to resolve logistics issues.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift, move, and organize materials as needed throughout the workday.
• Capable of standing, walking, bending, and performing warehouse-related tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to safely operate or learn to operate material handling equipment, including forklifts.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment while following safety procedures.

Job Duties

• Process and coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels.
• Receive, inspect, unload, and document incoming goods while verifying shipment accuracy.
• Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, and inventory record maintenance.
• Coordinate and track materials sent to outside vendors for additional processing.
• Communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve shipping, receiving, and logistics issues.
• Support warehouse operations by maintaining accurate inventory data and ensuring material availability.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures while promoting a safe and organized work environment.
