Walsworth is hiring a 1st Web Press Operator for our Fulton, Missouri facility. This is an urgent opening on our second shift. You'll join an experienced press department operating modern, well-maintained equipment in a climate-controlled production environment with stable production volume. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates. What You Can Expect $28/hour starting base pay $2/hour second-shift differential Starting at $30/hour on second shift Relocation assistance available Climate-controlled work environment Modern, well-maintained press equipment Stable production volume Experienced team with long employee tenure Approximately 21 employees across the press department, including seven on second shift Opportunity to work for a well-established, family-owned company What You'll Do As a 1st Web Press Operator, you'll report to the Press Manager and be responsible for the safe, efficient operation of our web offset printing equipment, including Goss M600 presses. Your responsibilities will include: Set up, make ready, and operate web offset printing presses. Review job specifications for quantities, paper stock, colors, folds, and other production requirements. Install plates and prepare press components for production. Measure paper thickness and make necessary blanket and cylinder adjustments. Manage ink and solution fountains and adjust controls to maintain proper ink flow. Monitor ink density, registration, positioning, and overall print quality throughout production runs. Make adjustments during production to consistently meet quality standards. Follow established safety procedures and PPE requirements.
