Airport Security Officer: Full Time Morning Shifts

As an Airport Security Officer: Full Time Morning Shifts in Kailua Kona, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors with professionalism and clear communication. You will help support a welcoming environment while responding to concerns and reporting observations. Pay Rate: $25.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 18+ years of age

• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, public areas, parking facilities, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and support compliance with applicable airport rules, posted procedures, and restricted-area requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate airport personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and communication records in accordance with site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
