This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced SLP who enjoys working with infants, children, and adolescents in a supportive, collaborative environment. With afternoon and evening hours, you'll have the opportunity to provide essential speech therapy services to children and families who need appointments after school.

Whether you're helping a toddler say their first words, supporting a child with autism in developing communication skills, or helping a patient overcome feeding and swallowing challenges, your work will make a meaningful difference every day.

Why You'll Love Working With Us
  • Afternoon and evening hours

  • Rewarding outpatient pediatric rehabilitation setting

  • Supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team

  • Opportunity to work with children from birth through age 18

  • Diverse pediatric caseload, including speech, language, feeding, and swallowing disorders

  • Meaningful opportunities to build relationships with children and their families

  • Collaborative environment focused on individualized, family-centered care

  • Opportunity to use your creativity and clinical expertise to help children succeed

About the Role

As a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist, you will provide comprehensive evaluations and evidence-based treatment to children ages 0-18 with speech, language, communication, feeding, and swallowing disorders.

Reporting to the Speech Pathology Supervisor, you will work closely with families, caregivers, and other rehabilitation professionals to develop individualized treatment plans that address each child's unique developmental and functional needs.

Our pediatric patients may present with speech delays, language disorders, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, neurological conditions, or medically complex feeding and swallowing difficulties.

We're looking for someone who combines strong clinical skills with creativity, patience, and a genuine love for working with children.

What You'll Do
  • Conduct comprehensive pediatric speech and language evaluations for infants, children, and adolescents.

  • Assess and treat speech sound disorders, expressive and receptive language delays, and other communication difficulties.

  • Provide individualized pediatric feeding and swallowing evaluations and treatment.

  • Develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each child's developmental needs and family goals.

  • Support children with autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, neurological conditions, and other communication challenges.

  • Use engaging, age-appropriate therapy techniques to encourage participation and progress.

  • Educate parents and caregivers on strategies to support speech, language, communication, and feeding development at home.

  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, physicians, and other pediatric healthcare professionals.

  • Monitor progress, modify treatment plans, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

  • Provide compassionate, family-centered care that supports each child's confidence, independence, and quality of life.

What We're Looking For

Education:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.

Experience:

  • Two to three years of pediatric speech-language pathology experience strongly preferred.

  • Experience working with children with feeding and swallowing disorders or autism spectrum disorder is highly desirable.

  • Previous outpatient pediatric rehabilitation experience is a plus.

Licensure and Certification:

  • Current Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist license required.

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) required.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within four months of hire.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Passion for helping children develop communication and functional skills.

  • Strong pediatric assessment, treatment planning, and clinical problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children and families.

  • Creative, patient, and adaptable approach to pediatric speech therapy.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize patient care.

  • Commitment to exceptional patient care, service excellence, and family satisfaction.

  • Comfortable using computers and electronic medical records.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound clinical judgment.
