As the Corporate Accounts PMO Leader, you'll own the portfolio of strategic programs, enterprise engagements, eProcurement initiatives, and learning programs that keep our largest customer relationships growing and our internal teams aligned. You'll lead cross-functional teams through complex, global initiatives in a highly matrixed environment, where executive-level influence and communication matter as much as program management fundamentals. Most of your portfolio, roughly 90% of your strategic programs, is customer-facing, so you'll spend as much time with account leaders as you will with your own team.
Why this role matters:
Corporate Accounts is home to IDEXX's largest and most strategically important customers, the relationships whose scale, complexity, and long-term partnership shape how we grow as a company. Winning and keeping these customers takes more than great products; it takes flawless execution at scale, across a matrixed global organization, on programs that touch every part of how our biggest customers experience IDEXX. That execution engine is the Corporate Accounts PMO. We're looking for a dynamic leader to run it: someone equally comfortable in front of a customer's executive team and in front of our own, who can translate strategy into programs that achieve or outpace expected outcomes, and who gets the most out of a team of eight project and program managers.
In this role:
Your responsibilities as the Corporate Accounts PMO Leader will span program strategy and leadership, program execution and delivery, stakeholder management, and resource management.
Program Strategy and Leadership
- You will lead the PMO portfolio through strong business case support, prioritization, communication, and execution.
- You will lead and develop a team of high-performing project and program managers.
- You will guide your project managers and partner with senior leaders to set program goals, objectives, and plans.
- You will ensure detailed program plans are in place covering timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and performance metrics.
Program Execution and Delivery
- You will drive cross-functional teams through the execution of complex global programs, ensuring strict adherence to program objectives, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
- You will establish effective governance structures, set program milestones, and put progress-tracking mechanisms in place.
- You will oversee program risk by ensuring potential issues and roadblocks are proactively identified, and that mitigation strategies are developed and implemented as needed.
- You will keep stakeholders and executive leadership informed through regular communication of program status, key milestones, and risks.
Stakeholder Management
- You will build and sustain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including executives, project managers, team members, and external partners.
- You will engage stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations, and ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the program lifecycle.
- You will anticipate stakeholder concerns and manage expectations by directing timely updates, resolving conflicts, and addressing issues proactively, with your team as partners in that work.
Resource Management
- You will work with functional leaders to secure and allocate the resources required for program success.
- You will ensure effective utilization of resources, including internal and external teams, consultants, and vendors.
- Continuous Improvement and Lessons Learned
- You will lead post-completion reviews of programs to capture lessons learned and drive improvements.
- You will champion best practices, process enhancements (including AI-assisted and automated), and tools that optimize program management and delivery.
- You will foster continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team and across the organization.
What you need to succeed
- 7-10+ years of program or project management experience, including people leadership, ideally within a matrixed, global organization.
- A track record leading strategic, customer-facing programs for large or enterprise accounts, proving that you know how to run a program that a customer's leadership team is watching as closely as your own.
- Comfort translating ambiguity and complexity into structured plans, governance, and clear executive communication.
- Strong stakeholder management and influence skills; you build trust quickly with executives, customers, and cross-functional teams alike.
- A bias toward action, with a proven ability to drive results and hold teams accountable at scale.
- Instinctive player-coach mentality: hands-on with strategic initiatives where required, while steering and developing your team of project and program managers.
- Experience with change management, ideally connected to product launches, enablement, or skill development programs.
- Demonstrated strength in strategic thinking, balancing stakeholders, customer focus, managing complexity and ambiguity, building effective teams, and financial acumen.

- A salary targeting $175,000 annually, with some flexibility depending on years and depth of experience.
- Annual cash bonus opportunity
- Performance-based merit increases
- Day-one health, dental, and vision coverage
