Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills l Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Intercompany Matching and Reconciliation (ICMR). l Strong understanding of end-to-end intercompany accounting, reconciliation, matching, discrepancy analysis, and period-end close processes. l Hands-on experience configuring ICMR matching methods, matching rules, reconciliation cases, data sources, and reason codes. l Experience designing automated matching scenarios for intercompany receivables/payables and other intercompany transactions. l Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI), including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and intercompany accounting. l Ability to analyze reconciliation breaks and design processes for exception identification, investigation, resolution, and reporting. l Understanding of ICMR integration with Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and broader S/4HANA Finance processes. l Experience with SAP Fiori applications supporting ICMR and finance users. l Ability to translate business reconciliation requirements into functional designs, configuration, workflows, reports, and technical specifications. l Experience across SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and post-production stabilization. l Strong stakeholder-management skills with the ability to work with Finance, Accounting, Controllership, and IT teams. Roles & Responsibilities The Senior SAP S/4HANA ICMR Consultant will design and implement Intercompany Matching and Reconciliation capabilities as part of an S/4HANA Finance transformation. The consultant will: l Lead ICMR requirements gathering, Fit-to-Standard workshops, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment. l Assess current intercompany reconciliation processes and define the future-state process using SAP ICMR. l Configure matching scenarios, matching methods, rules, tolerances, reconciliation cases, and exception handling. l Design automated reconciliation and matching processes to reduce manual reconciliation effort and improve period-end close efficiency. l Work with Finance teams to define processes for identifying and resolving intercompany mismatches and exceptions. l Design integration between ICMR and relevant S/4HANA Finance processes and financial data sources. l Develop functional specifications for required enhancements, interfaces, reports, workflows, and Fiori applications. l Lead functional activities across SIT, UAT, defect resolution, cutover, go-live, and stabilization. l Partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Controllership, SAP technical teams, and integration teams. l Provide functional leadership and recommend scalable solutions using standard SAP capabilities wherever possible.
