Telemecanique Sensors, a YAGEO company, has more than 90 years of expertise and is recognized as a worldwide specialist in the field of sensors. We cover the wide environment of sensors from electro-mechanic to electronic products and from detection to identification and distance measurement.

The Channel Manager will be directly responsible for the management and execution of Channel relationships and activities for Telemecanique products within North America and Canada. This individual will play an integral role in developing detailed business and operational plans with distributors. The Channel Manager will lead the tactical execution of operational plans to drive the enablement of channel partners to realize growth targets by implementing sales plans, national/local promotions, training programs, and inventory planning.

The successful candidate will report to the Sales and Marketing manager for Telemecanique in North America, with close working relationships with local sales and regional marketing.

Job Attributes:



  • Develop and strengthen relationships at key distributors to capitalize on sales and services synergies, leverage operational efficiencies and assure profitable partnerships
  • Create and develop growth-orientated business plans with distributors for acquisition and existing accounts. Gain agreement, establishing measures of performance to drive mutual accountability
  • Ensure quality and responsiveness for all of the services provided, and continually strive to improve with the aim of offering a "superior ease of doing business experience"
  • Coordinate distributor competency development, resource utilization and program execution
  • Execute channel strategies to drive Telemecanique market share growth, including tailored regional and application specific strategies
  • Provide Local Sales and Regional Marketing with regular account updates-leveraging PRM tools-highlighting opportunities and escalating issues as necessary
  • Develop and strengthen relationships at key distributors to capitalize on sales and services synergies, leverage operational efficiencies and assure profitable partnerships
  • Disseminate training and campaign programs to keep channel partners up-to date with latest offerings



Job Requirements:



  • Proven history of driving growth within channel partner programs
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and highly motivated
  • Ability to thrive in a matrixed organization
  • Ability to Travel within United States and Canada up to 50%



Education and Experience:



  • 3+ Years of Industrial Channel Management

  • Bachelor's degree preferred. Account management / electrical components selling experience a plus.
