From internal controls to process to accounting transactionsand everything in between, our integrated solution approach is designed to help enable and manage growth, leverage resources, and mitigate costs and risks.

Your role.

As you venture into figuring out the major business drivers, we'll give you the flexibility to integrate people issues with business strategies. You'll be instrumental in serving our clients through risk services that have direct impact to our clients overall business processes. Your work will include, but not be limited to:

Performing enterprise risk services for a variety of disciplines including:

  • Internal Audit

  • SOX and JSOX Compliance

  • Enterprise Risk Management Framework Development

  • Quality Assurance Review

  • Process and Internal Control Improvement

  • Regulatory Compliance

Providing reporting assistance and analysis for engagements:
  • Documenting and testing client internal control environments

  • Identifying and analyzing potential risks and mitigation strategies

  • Preparing proposals and engagement letters

  • Develop and implement risk-assessment models and methodologies

  • Produce reports and presentations that outline findings, explaining risks and recommending changes.

  • Assist with client accounting support

  • Research markets, tools and technology

Technical accounting advice :
  • Assisting clients with post-merger integration of accounting activities

  • Providing short-term temporary accounting support

  • Providing counsel on implementation of new technical accounting standards into the everyday practice of an organization

Interacts with other practice areas within management consulting and other practice areas including but not limited to audit, tax, wealth management and consulting.
The qualifications.
  • Detail-oriented leader with problem solving, communication, critical thinker, organizational, technical and analytical skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance, or related field.

  • Academic success (a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0).

  • Preferred: Completion of the requisite degree and supporting credits to sit for the CPA or CIA exam, with the goal of successfully obtaining the CIA or CPA license.

This is an exempt position that may require some local, national, and occasional international travel.

Salary Class

Salary
We are pleased to offer eligible staff a robust benefits package. Eligibility and contribution requirements for some of these benefits vary based on the number of hours staff work per week. Highlights include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance. These standard offerings are effective on the first of the month following your start date. In addition to this, eligible staff are able to take advantage of our Flexible Time Off and various pre-determined holidays as well as a 401(k) plan, flexible benefits plans, business-related travel expense, lodging and meal reimbursement for business-related use. A Pension plan is also available for eligible administrative and paraprofessional staff. A discretionary bonus plan is available for eligible staff. Plante Moran also offers Interns and Contractors the option to elect health insurance under our contingent staff medical plan as of the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment in addition to limited paid time sick time. Seasonal staff are not eligible for benefits.

Compensation is commensurate with technical skills and experience is provided in accordance with applicable state requirement. Compensation information posted is based on a position being located in the state of CO or IL. Please review theposition location for theapplicable geographic location.

Colorado monthly base range is as follows:

$6,333.00 to $6,833.00

Illinois monthly base range is as follows:

$7,083.00 to $7,083.00
